Caractérisation des algorithmes quantiques variationnels et exploration de leur potentiel pour l’avantage quantique

Hela is a PhD student in the LIP6 lab under the joint supervision of Prof.Elham Kashefi (Sorbonne, Paris) and Prof.Zoë Holmes (EPFL, Switzerland). She works on the theoretical characterization of variational quantum landscapes with a focus on studying the limits of classical simulation of quantum computations. She does enjoy messy calculations and finds beauty in contrived mathematical proofs.
