Towards information-theoretic principles for limits of signalling in quantum theory

I’m a PhD student under supervision of Jessica Bavaresco, currently working on quantum theory with indefinite causal order. Several physical and information-theoretic principles for delimiting quantum correlations have been proposed and studied over the years (e.g. non-trivial communication complexity, information causality, local orthogonality & E-principle, and macroscopic locality). However, these all apply to non-signalling scenarios, and signalling correlations that arise in scenarios of quantum communication have garnered far less attention. I’m working on developing information-theoretic principles that are able to delimit the set of correlations that can be realised within signalling quantum theory.
